I am a 58 year old female who was diagnosed w/ CTE which unmasked AGA. I am concerned because I have been prescribed 5 mg of Finasteride, 2.5 mg of oral minoxidil, and 100 mg of Spiro. I just started the oral minoxidil a week ago. I have been on the Spiro for BP issues prior to the TE(2 years), and have been on the Finasteride since July 10th. How effective is all of this, and should I be concerned about possible health dangers?

Most likely when you stop minoxidil you will eventually revert back to where you would have been had you not used minoxidil at all. That's called "catch-up" hair loss.
The side effects everyone talks about with fear on their mind occur less often than you think. Of course you may try a half dose but likely it will be less effective. Generic versions of finasteride technically have the same amount of active ingredient so they should be equal.
Minoxidil is least effective when it is not used. Oil may reduce effects slightly but only slightly. You might consider treatments for seborrheic dermatitis to counteract oiliness. Be sure to see your physician to review such treatments.
