What can I do to my face to freshen things up a bit. I'm 35 years old, i've had previous botox. I'd like more volume in my cheeks and more defined jaw/ slimmer face

Thank you for your question and for providing photos. Botox is a great option to slenderize the jawline. When injected into the masseter muscle, it reduces the size of the muscle to provide a slimming effect to the lower third portion of the face.
Dermal fillers can also be used to restore volume and create a sculpted midface contour. Combining these two treatment options is often referred to as a liquid facelift. I recommend scheduling an in-person consultation with an experienced, board-certified injector who can suggest the best combination of formulas to help you achieve your aesthetic goals.

This is my expertise and a huge portion of my practice. Asymmetry is normal and expected. Buccal fat pad gives slimming not symmetry. Masseter botox will make you slimmer and make the jawline more loose. Fillers help give shaping and contouring. If you want perfect or close to perfect symmetry you need maxillofacial surgery or implants customized. I suggest seeing an expert to go through all options. Most of my younger clients use fillers to give them shaping especially on the cheeks, jawline, and chin which make the face look more slim and tight; and threads such as PDO or Instalift can build collagen and support the facial shaping and skin looseness over time, slowing down the aging process and given the face a more “snatched” look; and morpheus8 or PiXel8 deep microneedling RF can tighten crepe skin especially on the neck and jawline and is great for long term tightening of the full face, neck and chest; its often used to give the face a slimmer more sculpted look because it tightens the skin and gives lift. an early face lift can be performed as well even in younger clients if they want a different facial shape, maxillofacial surgery with bone breaking or shaving can also be done. For facial slimming a combination of treatments are always needed. Options include: 1. Buccal fat pad removal to reduce fat on the lower face 2. Factite or Renuvion/J Plasma to tighten the lower face, jawline, and chin to reduce fat and give the jawline and neck tightening and shaping. 3. Botox to the masseter to reduce the muscular size of the jaw giving the face an illusion of being more slender 4. Thank you for your question. There are a variety of fillers that can help contour the face. While fillers cannot slim the face, by adding volume in certain regions such as the cheek bones and jawline, it can give the illusion of the face being slimmer. Buccal fat removal is a procedure that helps slim the cheeks as well and offers a permanent solution. Just something to consider. I hope this helps, and all the best!

Hi Kelly! Botox is a great start to help keep your skin looking smooth and fresh. Fillers are great options. Many are made of hyaluronic acid which is a substance naturally found in your skin. They help to create volume and there are over a dozen options to chose from. Increasing cheek volume higher and to the side can help create more triangularity to the face. Nasolabial fold and marionette line filler can rejuvenate the mid and lower face. Most fillers last 8-12 months and the results are nice. Fat transfer is another option which lasts 5-10 years on average and multiple areas can be treated at once. The downtime is a bit more, but that's the tradeoff. Morpheus8 microneedling would be a consideration as it tones the collagen in your skin increasing tightness. Hope this helps you!

Fillers are a great way to add lost volume and enhance facial contours.  They can be combined with Botox treatments for a more complete result.  Botox injected in the masseter muscles will help to slim the lower face.  i encourage you to meet with an expert injector to discuss your treatment goals and learn more about options.
