I started the process to remove some of my filler prior my face lift.In the 3th and last session the dermatologist went overboard and I’m really unhappy with the amount of filler she removed.The surgeon said it was fine to leave a small amount of filler prior surgery.I’m now wondering if it will be ok to add a drop back into this area 3 weeks prior surgery.

Face and neck lifts mainly correct the jowling on the lateral face and excess skin below the chin and into the neck area. Getting filler that far medial in your face should not affect the result from the facelift unless you are also getting a blepharoplasty (eyelid lift) at the same time.

I would tell you to wait until after the facelift but you should ask your surgeon. Although it probably would do no harm you’ve had bad experience filler before. So what’s the hurry to get more filler?
