Micro needling for PRP. If I damage my follicle with this technique, will it recover?

I had a PRP treatment with micro needling . It has increased my hair by double . A doctor told me that micro needling can damage follicles. if I damage my follicle with this micro needling technique , will my follicle recover ? I am very worried . It was bad enough to waste money but to make my situation worse is very stressful . Thanks so much for feedback
