Almost a year since I had Fat Transfer to face! Hate it! If I lose weight, will it dissolve?

Providing that you are longer than 6 months after fat grafting your result is more or less permanent. In that case conservative liposuction with small cannula may help to reduce volume of over-corrected areas. Direct excision using existing face lift scar may also be used to trim cheeks. Dear rebrokeriAfter fat grafting to the face, it take near 6 months for the swelling and resorption to stabilize. At that point, you will have a good sense of the final result. If you loose or gain weight, the grafted fat will fluctuate in volume with your body weight. If you are 6 months out from surgery and at your baseline weight, you can consider revision. In addition to surgical revision, one option might be using Kybella to dissolve the fat. Photographs can be helpful in giving you more case specific advice. Look for an experienced plastic surgeon certified by the American board of plastic surgery. Thank you for posting your question. How long ago did you have the fat transfer procedure? Fat cell survival rate varies among individuals, but on average half of the transferred fat is reabsorbed. It takes the body several months to readjust and settle into the new shape, so what you are seeing right now may not be the final result. Best of luck.

Discuss revision with your plastic surgeon.  Hopefully, the fat can be removed directly and / or with micro liposuction .
