What size will my breasts be?

I had a bilateral mastectomy with reconstruction at the same time. I used to be a D and now I'm a lot larger than that. They put 555cc saline "gummy bear" implants in. Can someone tell me what the straight size I will be once the swelling goes down? The surgery was 7 weeks ago a dim worried that I'm very large.

Hello and thank you for using RealSelf.com.I do not think any physician can give you a correct answer based on your questions, especially without pictures to view.However, here are some thoughts for you to consider.  You are only 7 weeks out from surgery.  Every physician will first say to you 'wait about six months for healing to complete'.  I agree with that.  It is too early to see your exact final size.  Also, all bra companies fit a bit different as it is difficult to say you are exactly one certain cup size.  What is more important is the size of your breasts in relation to your body size (height, weight, chest wall size, etc.).Talk to your surgeon about your concerns and let him or her help you along with your healing.Good luck to you.Dr Spies

best thing you can do in this situation is just to wait until things settle
down and then you can reassess.You can
always the just the size by going smaller if you feel you are too large, but at
this point it is too soon for you to be able to judge the size.I hope this helps.
