I have had both done in the past year and currently want to continue to stimulate collagen. Other than eye hallows and creases in the eyes I do not have specific concerns or problem areas. I am 38 years old with type 2 olive skin. Just wanting to chose the best procedure for anti-aging.
Answer: Annual Schedule of Halo and BBL Treatments Thank you for your question. We recommend seeing a board-certified plastic surgeon or a trained physician assistant working in plastic surgery for a consultation to help outline your goals and create a treatment plan that fits your lifestyle and budget. Most patients will opt to do at least one Halo each year, preferably after the intense summer months. ForeverYoung BBL is a great option for maintaining bright, even-toned skin throughout the year. Halo does stimulate more collagen than BBL; however, ForeverYoung BBL will affect the RNA of your skin, maintaining its youthful appearance over time. A combination of Halo and BBL can provide you with the lasting anti-aging results you are looking for. The easiest combination for you will be one Halo and two ForeverYoung BBLs annually. You will also need to be diligent about sun protection, and use good skin care products at home for best results.

Answer: Which is better for anti-aging? Halo yearly or quarterly BBL? #Sciton #Halo #BBL #Halolaser Thank you for your question! Congratulations on considering having a Halo and BBL treatments. They are both wonderful treatments, and you will have great results with each. There has been quite a bit of research and data that shows the Forever Young BBL can actually prevent the signs of aging skin, especially when done on a scheduled basis. We typically will start with 3-4 initial treatments with Forever Young BBL until you have reached correction, and then recommend a treatment every three months or 'with the change of the seasons'. Having a quarterly BBL treatment would be an excellent addition to your anti-aging regimen, in my opinion. The BBL treatments coupled with a Halo treatment every year, will dramatically improve the texture and tone of your skin as well. The Halo laser is a combination of a non-ablative and ablative Erbium laser in a 'hybrid' handpiece. In this way, you have the advantages of each laser with minimal downtime. Be sure to consult with a board certified provider who has experience with both the Halo and BBL platforms for a full evaluation and to develop a personalized treatment plan. I hope that this helps!-David Gilpin

Answer: Anti-aging Halo or BBL? There is certainly a role for both procedures. HALO improves the textural surface of the skin while stimulating deep collagen and BBL stimulates collagen and removes additional pigment from skin. I find that a HALO at least once followed by Forever Young BBL is a routine that can’t be beat. However, depending on skin condition 2 HALO’s may be needed. Also consulting with your provider on you medical history is essential. Skincare is never a one and done. However, beautiful, healthy skin is attainable with compliance and realistic expectations.Hope this helps!

Answer: Halo or BBL There is certainly a role for both procedures (HALO improves the textural surface of the skin while stimulating deep collagen and BBL stimulates collagen and removes additional pigment from skin. At 38 if you do not have significant sun/smoker damage then BBL twice a year is an excellent plan. You may wish to do HALO every couple years but BBL alone is very worthwhile./

Answer: Best Anti-Aging Skin Treatments - Halo and BBL Great question and you may want to try reposting with pictures. There is more long term research on the anti-aging benefits of BBL, particularly as it is a technology which has been around long enough that there are studies at patients doing it regularly for a decade or more. Hands down, after sunscreen and not smoking, don't spend money on fancy serums and creams, do BBL at least 2 times a year, just like getting your teeth cleaned. The results are profound. On the other hand, you can't do BBL within the eye socket, so if you are bothered by aging around the eyes, then you want Halo. For my patients, they usually do both in the same session, so an ideal basic antiaging regimen is one BBL, and then another session in which we do BBL and Halo at the same time, including putting in laser rated contact lenses so we can treat the skin right to the lashline with Halo as well.
