Hello, Per your post, most of the aligner companied out there design their aligner in a way that they don't go beyond the cervical margin of teeth( neck of tooth) and prevent impingement of the gum tissue and better fit. If you are referring to the fact that not all your teeth are included in your trays, that is a decision from your Dr. Sometimes there is no need to treat some teeth or include them for anchorage purposes.Talk to your Dr. and maintain open communication at all times!Smile!
