I am 45 years old adult. I had a terrible smile. I came to Dr. Drut in September of 2013 for a consultation in his Jersey City office. I had an option to do invisalign but choose not to due to the cost and the length of treatment. Dr. Drut said he could treat me without taking out any teeth. I had Metlife insurance and Diamond Braces is in the network. I had clear brackets on the upper and metal on the lower jaws. Now my smile is better than I ever expected. Thanks to Dr. Drut and the team
Great experience. Works like a magic. First week a bit hard after that do not feel a thing. Teeth are moving slow but moving. The price includes all appointment and permanent retainers and 2 years retainer follow up. Unlike the other doctors I visited, this office is only doing orthodontic work and this makes me feel better.
I was in braces for about 2 years. Dr. Drut was the only doctor who suggested not to remove any permanent teeth to help with my crowding. Two other doctors I visited in the past wanted to remove the teeth. Now when braces are off, I do not regret the decision to start at diamond braces and to be treated by Dr. Oleg Drut
Great experience. Invisalign worked like a magic. Was fast and amazing. Dr. Oleg is a great doctor and knows what he is doing. Downside, he is not in office every day and when he is, the waiting time is long. Very professional though. I also when to a few other opinions before contacting Dr. Drut. Dr. Oleg gave me the best price of all and has more expertise than the others as I checked on invisalign website.
so called 6 months smile is just and advertisement gimmick to attract a patient. There is not such a thing. If you just want your front teeth to be straight without any regards to bite and function, you can get them straight in 3 months. So lets call it, "3 months smile" right? Stay away from those who advertise 6 months smiles. Just go to an established orthodontist for a second or third opinion before spending your money on something that does not really exists
From the photos you submitted, it does not look like your case is finished. You can certainly improve that with invisalign or braces for a short period of time
I would advise you to never try this since it could result in some major damages of your bite and teeth. Plastic does not fix your teeth, the doctor is using the trays as a tool to correct the issue and to follow the treatment plan. You could transfer to another provider in the area. You can sign a transfer form and transfer the case. This way, you dont have to pay for the lab (Invisalign fabrication) again and to reduce the cost of the treatment.
IPR sometimes is necessary to make space for the crowded teeth and to improve the bite. From your photos, I do not see that you have space issues. The gaps are large. IPR will not make the teeth to move faster. The trays should not feel loose at all during treatment. Should fit like a glove but should not hurt. I would be very careful to use so called Clear Image company since the delivery and materials is different when compared to the industry leader Invisalign and the doctor has much less control over the case comparing to when using Invisalign. When Clear Image can be used to treat easy cases, some more complicated could be treated with the help of Invisalign
Invisalign is just a tool in the hand of the doctor. If the doctor knows and is experienced enough, it is not a problem to use invisalign to give you 100% correction. Find a good orthodontist who has enough invisalign experience.
