Sclerotherapy for under eye veins - is it safe and effective?

Is this the best treatment for prominent veins appearing under your eyes? Is this safe and better than laser in the perioorbital area? Is one treatment usually enough? I have one prominent vein under each eye.

Varicose veins are veins that are persistently enlarged and twisted. I strongly suspect the veins on your penis enlarge with erection and become smaller when your penis is flaccid as normal veins should. There is no treatment needed or recommended for your vein. Wishing you the best of health

Branstarkgirl95, I don't know that sex can affect the results of sclerotherapy on legs. Of course I don't think this has been studied. To my thinking, the pressure changes in the veins are greater from arising from laying down than those that occur during sex. So I would think that having sex...

The photo is a bit unclear. But, it is likely that this represents a small collection of "broken blood vessels" (in lay lingo, or more correctly called "telangiectasia"--a over collection of tiny capillaries that are entirely superfluous, i.e. neither supply any nutrition or oxygen to the skin...

Visible Temple veins are common. They are not related to any medical concerns. They can be treated if they are a cosmetic concern to you. If you chose to have sclerotherapy I recommend you consult with a physician who has a great deal experience treating temple veins. Wishing you the best...
