Brow lift complications 7 months post op, still have extreme tightness. Advice? (photos)

Question

I had an endoscopic temporal brow lift 7 months ago. I still have extreme tightness across my forehead. Will this ever go away? My skin on my forehead is very dry, like sandpaper. Why is this happening, will my skin return to normal? My forehead has dents and my muscles are contracting, raising my brows instead of them lowering.This looks unsightly. Why is this happening? I still have nerve pain. Any advice other than speaking to my surgeon is appreciated. Thank you.

Good Morning! Sorry that you're experiencing trouble with your browlift. At 7 months, we would usually expect some form of relaxation, but it can take through 12 months. The nerve discomfort should continue to improve. If you haven't done massaging, that would be a good start in addition to topical skin regimen to improve hydration. In areas of tightness or swelling, it may worth trying a steroid injection to reduce any inflammation. If this doesn't work, depending on technique, the brow may need to be re-evaluated surgically.
