Options for uneven brow lift - Will massage or Botox help?

What are the surgical and non surgical options for anyone who’s had an uneven brow lift. Is there anything we can do ourselves such as massaging an eyebrow that’s too high or Botox?

As we age, our eyelids naturally sag and droop. A combination approach would be best to see visible improvement. In terms of non-surgical treatment options, I would recommend a Chemical Brow Lift (using Botox, Dysport, Xeomin, or Jeuveau) and filler injections to rejuvenate the temples, eyebrow, eyelid, eye troughs, upper eye hollows, and forehead. I typically combine this with Ultherapy and thread lifting to lift the brow; RF and skin tightening laser treatments to stimulate collagen production and rejuvenate the skin; and laser or superficial RF devices for improvements in texture, color, and any crepey skin around the eyes as needed. Thank you for your question. Since asymmetric brows can have different underlying causes, there are also different treatment options available. If your brow symmetry was addressed during your lift procedure, it may have been found that a difference in the eye sockets was the cause, though absolute symmetry can still be difficult to achieve.
You may benefit from a neuromodulator injectable treatment such as Botox or Dysport to offer further improvement. I recommend scheduling an in-person consultation with an experienced, board-certified facial plastic surgeon who can assess your concerns, as well as your medical history.

I think the answer to your question will in large part depend on the time period that has elapsed since the brow lift was performed and which method was used to perform the brow lift.  If it has been a while than Botox in the orbicularis muscle on the lower brow side and Botox to the frontalis muscle on the high brow side will even out the brow.  If it has only been a short while then massage may be of benefit to the brow that is more elevated.

Hi there! For uneven brows, there are options. As you mentioned, massaging and time can help to "relax" the higher side. Botox can be used to create symmetry again by relaxing a side which may be too high to match the other side. Changes from a brow lift can take months to improve. If the problem persists past 12 months, it may be necessary to revise the side which is least desirable. Hope that helps answer your questions.
