It’s very unlikely to represent anything dangerous, and gradual changes like this can indeed occur with normal aging or facial movement patterns. The good news is that it’s usually something that can be improved safely with minor aesthetic treatments.

In order to answer your question, you need to be evaluated in person to see if this is something that’s present at all times or only when you are Frowning. In addition, you can always try a small amount of Botox and see if you benefit from it.
