Can I get Botox after a lower face & neck lift?

How long should I wait after a lower facelift & neck lift to get botox on my face & neck? I’m specifically inquiring if I can get botox in areas where i am still experiencing numbness or will that interfere with nerve regeneration? Thank you.

Hello and thank you for your question. Yes, it is safe to get Botox after a facelift and neck lift. However, I would check with your surgeon to be sure you are ready for the treatment. When you do have your Botox injections, make sure they are performed by an experienced, qualified injector to ensure the best possible result.

While botox won't affect nerve regeneration, you should still wait a little bit before you get Botox. I would suggest waiting about a week. This is enough time in between for you to get your injections.

Yes, you can have Botox after a lower face and neck lift.  It will not impact your sensation recovery.  Your surgeon will advise you when you are cleared for treatment based on how you've been progressing through recovery.
