Does this look like the start of skin necrosis? (Photo)

It looks like a bruise, but you should see your surgeon to be sure.  If it were skin necrosis,  you would know by now since it would in the first few days after surgery, not nine day later.

I agree that from the photos it does not look particularly alarming.  Sometimes the tip of the nose, especially after a revision will have some discoloration that appears as the initial swelling starts to subside.  That said, definitely have your surgeon look at it in person.  It is not possible to make this type of diagnosis from photos. 

In the photo,it really looks more like a bruise than true necrosis.An in-office exam would be helpful,but again, this looks like minimal bruising.Give it more time and try to be patient.I think you will like the result.

I doubt that you have anything to worry about, but please speak openly to your surgeon about your concerns.  The first few weeks and months after rhinoplasty can be stressful, but patience is key.  Good luck to you.
