I am 5 and a half months into a FUT hair transplant. I had about 2700 grafts implanted in the front and mid scalp. I have very low density in the transplanted area and frankly under bright light the transplanted area looks bald. In your experience is it quite common that people with such low density and coverage end up with a satisfactory result?

Answer: It can take 6 to 12 months after surgery to see results. If you are concerned it is best to contact your doctor
It is best to ask your surgeon about post operative care as each doctor has their unique regimen. Most doctors advice you to take it easy for two weeks.

It is too early to evaluate whether there has been an over harvest of the follicles. The no of follicles harvested would depend on the area needed to be covered. Hair is not a point. As the remaining hair grows in length hopefully the donor area would not appear patchy. I presume that...
