I have itchy red bumps on my legs after IPL. Is there any way this can be improved? (photos)

Hi ive just done my 3rd treatment on my lower legs 2 days ago, and now my whole legs are covered on red itchy bumps, similar to rash. im afraid they will scar and will be there permanently, is there any way this can be improved?

After IPL treatment for hair reduction, it is normal to have redness around the hair follicles.  Taking an OTC histamine, such as Claritin, can help decrease the itching.  It is always best to report any reactions to your provider, so they can evaluate in more detail in person.

I assume you had IPL for hair removal purposes? This is a result showing that the follicles have been treated. Take an OTC Benadryl and use hydrocortisone a few times a day after cool water. It will resolve and isn't permanent. "This answer has been solicited without seeing this patient and
