Hi everyone. Just looking for some advice and help. I had ultra plus (3rd time in 3 years) usually just go once per year or maybe longer inbetween visits. I’m just not happy with this shape and it’s like the middle of my Cupid’s bow pokes out in a strange way. You can see from one of the photos I’ve uploaded. And the top lip in the middle is very bulky and strange looking. From the front it looks okay but the side profile is just super strange. Is it the nurses obligation to fix?

Answer: Lip shape I'm sorry you are unhappy with your filler treatment. You will want to wait 14 days from your treatment for final results. If after that time you still have concerns, return to your injector for an evaluation. You have the option of having the filler dissolved with hyaluronidase if desired.

Answer: Lip augmentation Dear Ab2593, I perform a lot of lip injections with fillers such as juvederm and it works great. Many times I need to put more in one side than the other to attempt to even out the vermillion border (The red line of the lip). This helps provide more symmetry at times. For patients looking for a more long lasting result, I recommend fat grafting. That is, using your own bodies fat to make your lips naturally look more shapely. The bonus is that the results last many many years. In general, I avoid using permanent prosthesis because I find that the lips are such dynamic and sensitive structures, the end result is not natural.
