Botox would really not help improve wrinkly skin around the belly button. There are some other treatments that possibly could help, including radio frequency micro needling treatments, such as Fractora.
Thank you for your question. While Botox is not an effective treatment for loose abdominal skin, many nonsurgical treatments could produce the results you want. I offer both Thermage and Ultherapy for mild to moderate skin tightening on nearly any area of the body. These devices use revolutionary technology to heat the underlying dermal layers, constricting tissue and firming skin from the inside out. I recommend you schedule an appointment with a board-certified physician who specializes in nonsurgical skin tightening for a full assessment and recommendations for the right treatment for you.
No, Botox would not create the effect that you are looking for in your abdominal area and does not treat loose skin. You might want to consider CoolSculpting, a non-surgical fat reduction option for stubborn pockets of fat. Otherwise, you might be a candidate for either a tummy tuck or mini tummy tuck. Depending on how much or how little loose skin you have, there may be non-surgical radio frequency treatments that can achieve your goals. The best way to choose the procedure that is right for you is to book a complimentary in person consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon.
Hi Joyce, Thanks for the enquiry. Unfortunately Botulinum toxin (botox/dysport/xeomin) cannot be used for loose skin on the abdomen. The most effective method for removing loose and crepy skin from the abdomen is a surgical abdominoplasty (i.e. tummy tuck). There are however many non-surgical options including ultrasound/radiofrequency skin tightening, skin needling, and platelet rich plasma. You should consult with a doctor with experience in treating this condition, with a multitude of these options at their disposal. Kindest regards, Dr Josh Wall (Medical Director, Contour Clinics)
Unfortunately Botox would not help this area.Surgical tummy tuck is best option. Botox, Dysport, and Xeomin lock the release of a chemical called acetylcholine, which triggers the muscle contractions that create wrinkles. Botox, Dysport, and Xeomin essentially paralyze the muscles and stops them from contracting. Results from these treatments are visible within 3-7 days with results that can last anywhere from 3-4 months. It would be best to consult with a board certified plastic surgeon to discuss your options and goals. Hope this helps.
Unfortunately botox would not help this area.Surgical tummy tuck is best option but other methods of skin tightening may help eg lipodissolve or cryolipolysis
The answer is no.But, there are useful lasers and microneedling (with or without PRP) treatments that can help this problem. Consult with a cosmetic dermatologist for suggestions.

Botox does not work on wrinkles but on dynamic muscles that cause lines and wrinkles so it would have no effect on the appearance of the loose skin on the abdomen
Botox will likely not improve the loose skin on your abdomen. It works so soften lines by inhibiting muscle activity. This would not apply to the area you've mentioned. You may want to consider other treatments such as ThermiTight for skin tightening.
Botox is used in small volumes for small muscles (eg face), slightly larger volumes for sweating areas eg armpits and in even larger volumes for larger leg muscles in spasticity. The trapezius is the second largest muscle in the body and I cannot see any benefit to having botox as you would...
While the Botox will not affect your voice or vocal delivery, it would affect the facial muscles that control your expressions while you sing. One nice thing about Botox is that you can always customize the procedure to each patient’s unique needs. In your case you may want to c...
Thank-you for sharing your thoughts. Botox itself most likely did not cause the lump, and it may be a bruise from the injection that has caused the lump. Alternatively, since you also had fillers in the area, the lump maybe from the fillers. I would recommend touching base with your injector and...
