Sciton BBL - is bruising normal like this after the 3rd treatment? Anything I can do to heal quickly? (Photo)

Had first 2 BBL treatments approx. 5 weeks apart. 1st treatment yielded some "peppering" and lightening of a very dark spot on my forehead. 2nd treatment did not yield any peppering. Age spots and pigmentation on forehead remained unchanged. 3rd treatment today; practitioner was more aggressive given the minimal change from the 2nd treatment. Forehead tolerated treatment well, still minimal peppering. Cheeks experienced quite a lot of bruising. Need to understand why and how to heal quickly.

Fortunately, bruising is not super common with BBL. the positive is that you don’t look to have a burn and the bruising should run its course soon. Bbl can be turned down significantly to allow for rapid improvement in bruising. A single treatment can speed up the process tremendously. You can take arnica as well. I’d advise asking your treatment team to lightly bbl ASAP.

I recommend Arnica after almost any procedure we do.  I really am impressed with ots pain relieving quality and help with bruising both as prevention and treatment. Hope that helps.
