Yes, microneedling can give improvement in these areas, but a combination approach would give the most improvement with microneedling/prp, lasers, fillers and Botox. See an expert for a formal evaluation. Best, Dr. Emer
Micro needling helps with wrinkles and scars but you will need several treatments to get really good results. If you combine with (PRP) Platelet rich plasma the results will be even better.
Hello there. Absolutely Eclipse Microneedle with PRP with help soften the fine lines around the mouth, forehead and eyes. I recommend patients to have at least 3 treatments 4-6 weeks apart for optimal results. Sometimes, we do see that our patients will need to do a bit more based on the severity of the texture, tone and color. In conjunction with Botox/Xeomin that can paralyze the muscle so not to cause the wrinkle, microneedling will help soften these lines and tighten the skin.
yes. It does help wrinkles around eyes and mouth, to lessen, and improve its texture and tone.
Microneedling with PRP is an excellent treatment to help smooth wrinkles anywhere on the face and body.Microneedling is total skin rejuvenation. By causing a controlled injury the skin, your skin produces a boost of collagen to repair the injury, leaving your skin smoother, tighter, improving tone and texture. I do recommend using PRP during your microneedling treatment to achieve quicker healing and optimal results.Best to you,
Microneedling stimulates collagen production and so, yes, it will help with wrinkles anywhere on the face (or body). However, the wrinkles around the mouth and in the forehead can be difficult to treat with microneedling alone. Those areas usually require the injection of a neurotoxin (Botox, Dysport or Xeomin) because the wrinkles in those areas are caused by repeated underlying muscle movement. In order to completely treat them, the muscles have to be relaxed.I recommend that you have a consultation with a physician who specializes in aesthetic medicine in order to find out what your best options are.Best of luck to you.
Microneedling is great for lines and wrinkles. Depending on the dept of your lines and your overall skin health, you might need multiple sessions. I would strongly recommend finding a physician with expertise in microneedling and making sure it will done with your own PRP.Good luck.
Microneedling may not help too much with deep wrinkles around the mouth and forehead. Deep wrinkles around the mouth may be effectively treated with a fine small particle filler such as Restylane silk or Belotero, in addition to a smoothing laser such as Fraxel or Active FX or a chemical peel. I sometime also place a very very small amount of botox to help relax and smooth out the lines in addition to the filler and laser treatments.
Microneedling alone will not take care of deep wrinkles around the mouth. It will help, but usually these wrinkles require multiple modalities. I like to combine a neuromodulator like Botox with a filler, like Juviderm. The Botox helps stop the wrinkling motin, and fillers can replace the volume loss in the deep folds. If they are very deep or have pigment, CO2 ablative therapy can also be very beneficial.Good luck,Dr. Powell
Yes, I recommend microneedling to improve under eyes, but a combination approach will give the most improvement. Fillers, lasers, and microneedling/PRP can improve under the eyes. My patients try to get non surgical treatments to avoid surgery. We use PRP and stem cells there often. I suggest ...
No, prp shouldn't cause an in crease in hair shedding. I do recommend combining prp with progesterone to improve results. It will take up to 6 months to see improvement. I recommend getting a formal evaluation with a hair loss expert. Best, Dr. Emer
It sounds like you were treated with a machine that was designed for permanent makeup as opposed to micro-needling. Generally microneedling is performed with multiple needles. The technique can be used exclusively to treat problem areas only. However, a microneedling facial should...
This is difficult to answer without pictures. I recommend following up with a cosmetic dermatologist for after care and skin care recommendations. I always combine microneedling with prp and lasers to get the best outcomes. See an expert. Best, Dr. Emer
Yes, you can have more microneedling treatments, but keep in mind a combination approach will give the most improvement for acne scars. Acne scars need a combination of lmicroneedling/prp with lasers, subcision, Cosmelan and fillers. It will take a series of treatments and may need some trea...
