Hi @rachel6401. I recommend Morpheus 8. Morpheus8 is a non-surgical treatment for full body skin resurfacing, skin tightening, and fat reduction of stubborn areas. It uses minimally invasive fractional radiofrequency energy (RF) to penetrate the skin deeper than other microneedling devices, triggering the skin’s natural healing response to promote skin tightening and lifting. Best of luck, Dr. Nima!
For a more defined jawline to strengthen your profile (and help prevent the dreaded jawline "jowl" sagging), we use injectable fillers like Revanesse Versa - a filler known to limit swelling and give subtle, soft enhancements - or Radiesse. Using a cannula to limit pain and swelling, we inject on the bone in strategic points to get more lift and shaping, resulting in a more contoured lower face and defined, structured jawline. I would suggest getting a formal evaluation with a facial sculpting expert. Best, Dr. Emer
Dear rachel6401,Kybella typically takes 3 to 5 treatments to work. This is why I've stopped carrying Kybella in my office. I recommend neck liposuction more often then any injectable procedure for the neck now. It provides superior results gives me more control over the area than any injectable. It also costs about the same as what you paid for your first kybella session. The liposuction can be done under local while awake in the office and recovery is about the same as kybella.Daniel Barrett, MDCertified, American Board of Plastic SurgeryMember, American Society of Plastic SurgeryMember, American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery
Hello, Thanks for your question and photos. Looking at the pics is not easy to say your best options. You'll need a physical exam with a board-certified doctor. Anyway, Kybella a is great option to eliminate fat deposits in the neck. Other options are Cryolipolysis or Lipo. Good luck!
Your facial contour is determined by facial skeletal structure. Soft tissue covering tends to be very consistent from person to person. This is especially true for young people who are not obese. You don’t have much fat to manipulate in the first place so don’t expect that manipulation to change the way your face looks in any particular great amount.Since fat is not creating a problem you may want to think twice about treatments like Kybella. Most plastic surgeons don’t use that to remove fat in the chin and neck region because it is inferior to Liposuction.Kybella is unpredictable and while most of the time it tends to under deliver it can potentially be far more effective than people anticipated leaving significant contour irregularities and even skeletonizing peoples face.Personally I don’t think you’re fat removal is something you need, is in your favor or will deliver what you’re hoping for.If you’re concerned enough about the contour of your face to get surgical intervention and it should be based on treating the primary source or problem which is always a bone structure.Attempted treatments at soft tissue manipulation not addressing the primary problem it’s only going to give partial results at best and things that are done poorly can lead to permanent issues leaving patient regretful.Best,Mats Hagstrom MD
Hello, thanks for your question. As you may know, it's not easy to answer without a photo. Please, provide one. Kybella could help you eliminate fat deposits. Although, in this case, you may need a Lipo revision to get your goals. Good Luck!
Hi there, Kybella is not approved for any other area than submental. I would suggest finding a Board certified injector to evaluate and you will likely need some filler in that area. Sculptra would not be the filler I would suggest. See a Physician that is highly qualified. Best of luck!
Hi-Thank you for submitting your question. Kybella was specifically designed to treat small areas of submental fullness that does not respond to diet and exercise. Often times fullness under the chin can be hereditary. Looking at the photo you submitted, a single treatment of Kybella may be all...
