Agree with other dentist here...You have a cavity and appears you have more than one. They just have not broken thru yet..Fillings will most probably work but don't wait any longer.
Hi:The depth of the cavity is not very apparent. It however appears you should be able to fix with a simple filling. Best to have an X-ray taken first.Best,Dr. Maddahi
Thanks for sending over your photo. That hole is actually a cavity and from the photo you have sent you have lots of them between your teeth. I would seek care from a dentist and get the cavities removed. You should only need fillings at this point, not crowns but do not continue to hold off on treatment as it will only get worse.
Unfortunately, yes some temporary materials do pick up concentrated stains. You can see your dentist and most often polish the stain away.
Hi:First I would have my dentist to recheck your bite in all directions, second iIwould make sure there is no clenching or grinding action on the tooth. Third I would consult with a root canal specialist about the pain.Best,Dr. Maddahi
Hi:There are two factors affecting the appearance:1. Small crown2. Gum area is further down than the adjacent teeth. Both of the above concerns have to be addressed in order to have aesthetic results.Best,Dr. Maddahi
