Sharp pain and sensitivity towards Hot/Sweet but not cold after a root canal and permanent crown in tooth#30. no pain w/the temp crown because of the sedative material I guess. Dental CT scan shows no infection, things seems pretty good in the picture. the endodontist thinks there might be a fracture somewhere which can't be seen on the picture. I was told to either live with the pain or take the tooth out. I need your opinion because I hate to lose my tooth for an unknown reason. Thank you Siba

Sorry to hear that!
If you were satisfied with your bite before, Try to get your study models so you can go to an expert dentist, for full mouth evaluation , diagnosis and treatment planning!
If nobody does have the original models prior to your problems, then the good dentist will probably take...
Hi:If there is pain upon biting, you should go back to your dentist to recheck the bite in different jaw movements and make sure there is no clenching or grinding pressure on the crown. This can also effect the hot and cold sensitivity.Best,Dr. Maddahi
