Is it safe to do Wood therapy after a BBL?

Question

Hello, one year after my BBL is it ok to practice wood therapy? I have a little bit of cellulite that I would like to get rid off but I’m afraid that it might reduce the results of my BBL. Thank you.

One year after your surgery should not be a problem to consider wood therapy for cellulite. If you are concerned about the therapy, have them consider light wood therapy and avoid aggressive or deep therapy.

I don't think it's possible for an external device like wood therapy to give it permanent changes in either cellulite or BBL results. I therefore believe it is safe and will not hurt your results if done at this stage. Best, Mats Hagstrom M.D.

In my experience, the results of "wood therapy" are temporary, lasting only 2-3 days, and ultimately resulting in inflammation to the treated areas.If you are an excellent candidate for a Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL), the optimal BBL outcomes are achieved with: 1) use of VASER liposuction to harvest the fat, 2) a closed looped system such as Puregraft to process the fat, and 3) strategic micro-packet transplant technique.
