Therapist tried to cut corners by recommending topical use Hyaluronidase 150 IU/ML from Mesomedica to dissolve HA. Said it worked just as well compared to more expensive options. Are there any risks to this?

Answer: Topical hyaluronidase for correcting fillers? There is no way that topical hyaluronidase will work to dissolve fillers. Don't try to inject this either because it wasn't meant to be injected and there could be impurities or questions about sterility with the product. Hylenex, the best out there, isn't that expensive. Don't cut corners.

Answer: Topical hyaluronidase isn't effective for removing fillers Topical hyaluronidase cannot penetrate deep enough to dissolve fillers. Any true filler expert can tell you this. I have no idea why anyone would recommend something like this. It's a waste of time and money for you. Injectable hyaluronidase is the only option - and NO, you cannot inject topical hyaluronidase. It's NOT the same thing and will harm you. You need to see an expert. Removing fillers is just as much an art as putting them in to begin with.
