Should I be worried about edema 10 days after Ellanse? (Photos)

I had Ellanse injected 10 days ago. I‘ve still got quite a bit of swelling although I have been putting ice packs on my hands, massaged my hands with Arnica cream, taken antihistamine. There hasn’t been any real improvement. Is there anything else I can do? I saw the injector yesterday and he is not worried It will go down and it is possibly related to carrying my baby around instead of holding my hands up. How long is this going to last? I’m worried it may be permanent....

Your injector is right not to be
worried.  Swelling of the hands after
Ellanse treatment is normal and you have taken all the right measures.  It will settle over the next couple of weeks
- it’s not permanent - so pleased be rest assured.

Swelling is very common after Ellanse, more so in the hands.
This is temporary and goes away in 2 weeks. 
Massaging, ice pack, swelling medication is the usual treatment and solves a vast majority of issues

You can get oedema and swelling for a couple of weeks post Ellanse placement. You have seen your injector yesterday which is good and he is correct in that the swelling will go down,
