Can residual fat after blepharoplasty be “fixed” without additional surgery?

Had a lower lid bleph with fat repos about 1 month ago. As mentioned in a previous question I posted, still seeing what appears to be fat pads. I know I need to give more time though hoping there is a way to correct without going through procedure again should this be permanent.

If there is a little residual puffiness after 4-6 months, CO2 laser or a little filler may help you achieve your goals. If there is still significant fat, then surgery is the only solution.

At one month, you will still have swelling in some patients.  You will need to wait several months at this point for any residual swelling to resolve.  In general, revision can be considered at 6 months and it is usually the most viable approach for remedying any concerns.

As you state,  you still need to give it more time to heal.  With fat repositioning, some patients do stay pretty swollen for a while.  If at about 4 months there is too much, then you may need a revision.  Warm compresses, some massage, and some anti-inflammatory such as ibuprofen can help with the swelling.

Since you are only a month post op I would do nothing for a minimum of 2 to 3 months.You want to make sure all the swelling is gone THEN judge.
