I had a breast reduction 10 days ago. I had the drains removed 4 days after my surgery. My doctor did give me the ok to have them removed. But I can feel this weird "draining" sensation in my breasts. Am I feeling fluid building up? Is this ok?

Answer: Drains and Breast Reduction It should be fine to remove drains only 4 days after surgery. Many surgeons do not use them at all for reductions and evidence-based studies do not support their use. As long as you do not notice increased swelling in one of your breasts with increased pain, you should be fine.
