Hi, My name is Zahid and I am 33. I am facing head dandruff and hair loss specially in front region on my scalp. My friend (General Physician) told me to use "Stieprox liquid" and "Minoxin 2%". Pls advise if this is good to use or do I need to take something else. Thanks a bunch.
Answer: If you have dandruff and want treatment you can start with anti-dandruff shampoo. It seems your doctor gave you that option. If you have dandruff and want treatment you can start with anti-dandruff shampoo. It seems your doctor gave you that option.

Answer: Thinning Hair -- Rogaine, Propecia, Viviscal, Progesterone, PRP Thinning Hair -- Rogaine, Propecia, Viviscal, Progesterone, PRPIf you have thinning hair you really need an evaluation to see if it is genetic or from another cause like stress or autoimmune. If it is determined to be genetic there are many options and traditional treatments like rogaine foam and propecia pills can be used. I have great success in my practice using injectable progesterone and prp to the scalp. Postmenopausal women also benefit from spironolactone. I suggest seeing a dermatologist with expertise in hair loss. Best, Dr. Emer.

Answer: Stieprox Without seeing your scalp up close and knowing more about your history, it's not possible to provide a diagnosis and treatment plan.In general, Stieprox contains the active ingredient ciclopirox olamine which is one of several anti-dandruff agents. Other such agents include selenium sulphide, zinc pyrithione, and ketoconazole.Minoxidil at 2 and 5% are helpful for male pattern balding, also called androgenetic alopecia. The 5% formulation was shown to be more effective for men and this resulted in it's formal FDA approval a few years after the 2% formulation was approved.

Answer: Dandruff You already spoke to a doctor who gave you recommendations. He had the advantage of seeing you and I do not have that advantage so I would take his advice.
