Hi...I'm suffering whiteheads for last two years n can't stop myself to squeeze them n thts y suffering little scarring ..I'm taking accutane on da advise of doctor ..I hve White heads on Ma chin n little bit in lower cheeks ..he advised me 40mg a day n Im suffering a heel pain from a few days..I started accutane from last 9 days..can u suggest me tht which dose is best for me ,2o or 40 mg n y I hve pain in heels..n im married n hve two kids n MA weight is 53

Agree with Dr Rueckl, you can get to your cumulative or therapeutic dose over time. All such queries should be discussed with your prescribing IPledge MD however, as they need to know how you are taking the medication, see how you are responfing and can monitor you for side effects.

Accutane really is a drug that is about the cumulative total for the medication. If you go on a 20mg daily regimen, which is fine, it will take you twice as long to get to the cumulative total. You need to discuss daily dosing factors with your doctor, but overall, your cumulative dosage will be the same whether you take it in 20mg or 40mg daily increments.
