Specific Type of Lipo Better for PAH after Coolsculpting? (Photo)

Question

I had coolsculpting done a few years ago, one applicator on lower abdomen, i have always had a small pouch, but it seemed that after the coolsculpting, not only did it not improve, it became worse and much more prominent. After research, it seems like it may have gotten worse as a result of paradoxical adipose hyperplasia (PAH). Looking into lipo to fix this issue, but wondering if there is a specific kind of lipo that is best for PAH, or if any Drs have experience with PAH removal in CA. Thanks

I understand you had cool sculpting done before and there is a paradoxical adipose hyperplasia. This can easily be removed by Liposuction. There is no change in the procedure that we normally do for liposuction, except that you may have slightly more fibrosis. So consider getting liposuction using power assisted tool along with ultrasound assisted tool to make the fat to be removed easily and making sure that the results are smooth. So consider meeting a board certified plastic surgeon near you who has experience in combining both these tools.

based on your photos, you look like a good candidate for a TT. Liposuction would leave loose skin. Full tummy tuck should tighten your abdominal muscles and remove the excess skin. Flanks liposuction would give you a better shape. I would suggest you to consult a board-certified plastic surgeon because only after a thorough examination you will get more information and recommendations.

From the photos submitted you would have the best results from a tummy tuck which would remove excess fat and skin as well as correct abdominal wall laxity.  If you had liposuction alone you may be left with loose skin.  I encourage you to meet with a board certified plastic surgeon near you to discuss your options.
