Dear Inventive413130,Breast reduction is best suited for women who wish to decrease the size of their breasts. While there are different techniques used to perform this surgery, I prefer the vertical incision (lollipop pattern) breast reduction technique instead of the anchor scar pattern, which reduces more noticeable scarring than usual. I also use a SAFE liposuction technique to reduce additional fat around the stubborn axilla area and bra line. This way, my patients are achieving beautiful results with minimal incisions which reduces downtime and delivers an overall better breast shape long term.If you are considering breast reduction surgery, you should consult with a board certified plastic surgeon to discuss your options and make sure your surgeon understands your goals. Only after a thorough examination you will get more information and recommendations.Daniel Barrett, MDCertified, American Board of Plastic SurgeryMember, American Society of Plastic SurgeryMember, American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery
This would require 400 gram removal and this may be done but you may lose sensation and the ability to breast feed. It may be better to have a procedure that makes your breasts proportionate to your body size then having a preconceived notion that C is the right size for you.Best Wishes,Gary Horndeski, M.D.
It is definitely possible to bring your bust size down to a 32C in one procedure. You would most likely need an anchor pattern scar
It is impossible to accurately predict an exact cup size that can be achieved after breast reduction. You can certainly expect to be much smaller, lifted, and perkier after a breast reduction. It should not be a problem to achieve that in one operation. Seek a consultation from a board-certified plastic surgeon who can examine you and give you more information about what results you can reasonably expect. Best wishes.
Thanks for your question! Some of your breast size will always be dictated by the width of your breast. While a C cup may not be completely achievable, I'm sure something very youthful, perky and attractive can be achieved. Good luck!
Breast reduction equivalent to several cup sizes can be performed in one procedure. It is important to note that surgeons remove a given amount of breast tissue measured in grams, not by cup size, so a given cup size cannot be guaranteed. I encourage you to visit with a board certified plastic surgeon near you to learn more. I've included a video I hope you find helpful.
It is very possible to go from very large breasts to a C cup in a single breast reduction. The most important issue to discuss with your Plastic Surgeon will be, based on the specifics of your anatomy, if there is concern for the nipple and areolar complex viability during and/or after surgery. In a breast reduction, one of the main goals is to preserve the blood vessels and nerves that keep it alive and sensate. Sometimes however, in patients with extremely large breasts, the blood vessels and nerves are too long and stretched out to preserve and we will remove the nipple and areola as a skin graft and place it back on the breasts once they have been adequately reduced in size. This will help to preserve these structures and avoid wound healing issues down the line, but will ensure that sensation cannot be preserved. Hope this helps.
Unless you have a medical condition that is causing you to grow breast tissue. A single procedure should reduce your breast. However if you gain weight your breast may get larger. If you are over weight it is best to loose the extra weight before surgery.
