Can Liposuction be covered by my MSP if my breast reduction is covered?

Hello there, I am currently going through booking to have a breast reduction, and abdominoplasty. I am a weight loss human, who has gone from 300 to 170 ect ect. Reason I am getting the breast reduction is that my back goes numb, ALL THE TIME. I need side liposuction. They say that this part is not covered and must pay out of pocket. Can Lipo ever be covered? How much proving do we have to do to link it, or is it just never ever covered?

Liposuction is not covered by health Insurance. It is considered a cosmetic procedure. Speak with surgeon for fees.  Best wishes.

liposuction is an elective procedure so it is unlikely that insurance will cover the costs. If you are considering a surgery, I would suggest you to consult a board-certified plastic surgeon. Only after a thorough examination you will get more information and recommendations.

Congratulations on your impressive weight loss!  Breast reductions are sometimes covered by insurance if certain criteria are met.  Liposuction and tummy tucks however are considered cosmetic and are not covered by insurance.
