Heart pounding from shampoo, rogaine, argan oil etc. What should I do?

For some reason I get heart pounding from most Shampoos or when I apply any type of cream to my scalp. I have tried Minoxidil cream because of my hair loss but had increased heart rate/heart pounding (so I quit). After the side effect subsided I tried using argan oil but got the same side effect. It is also the same even when I use Moisturizer for my scalp. It seems to me that every time I apply any type of cream to my scalp I get a strong heart beat hours later.

Tough to tell - but one explanation might be that these treatments are expanding the blood vessels in your scalp  and causing your heart to pump harder to fill them.  Minoxidil does this - it is known as a "vasodilator"  (it lowers blood pressure too).  Check with your doctor - you might have some additional sensitivity to a common ingredient.
