9 days post blepharoplasty one eye still puckered after stitches removed, will it flatten?

I had lower blepharoplasty 9 days ago and my stitches have been removed. My right eye has puckering where the stitches were. Surgeon said this will flatten out and to not worry and do hot compresses. He alsogave me 1% hydrocortisone to use for 6 weeks. Will it flatten?

There is just no substitute for time.  I encourage to follow the advice of your surgeons and give yourself time to heal.  It is amazing how little things right after a surgery seem like they will never go away and then before you know it, time takes care of the issue.

Leave it alone... Most likely due to swelling..Much to early to draw any conclusions. Apply whatever ointment/medication your PMD recommends, sit tight and be patient.  It Should resolve over time.

Thank you for your question and for posting your photos.  You are very early in the healing process.  Most suture bumps and scars improve with time.  Silicone scar removal gel can also be used to flatten scars.  Follow your doctors instructions and best wishes.
