8 months post Sculptra injections - why aren't my results noticeable?

Thank you for the photos but it would have been nice to see the after photo as well.You provider should have advised you that multiple sessions are often needed to get to the result you want. It is unlikely that you are non responder or you were not injected with the amount you paid (I hope that is not the case but I'm just mentioning this as we had few patients who had that happen to them in some spas.We always open the vials in front of our patients and inject them right away.My advice is to add more sculpta- the same amount or at least 10 vials and wait 3 more months before adding more. Once you see the result you wanted, calculate how many vials it took to get there and then your provider will advise you on how may vials will be needed to maintain that result. Although each individual responds to Sculptra differently, you can say that on average, about 1 cc of volume is gotten from one vial. You got eight vials to each buttock... You've been flim flammed, lied to, tricked. Welcome to the world of cosmetic medicine, where there are no laws regulating providers to perform an informative and truthful consent for a procedure, one that goes beyond the usual things like warnings about complications. These tricksters rely on the fact that you walk out of the office with a few hundred cc's of water injected into your butt, allowing you to visually see a difference. They usually tell you that it will shrink but grow back months later as you react to the Sculptra. What they don't tell you is that anything shy of 20 to 40 vials per buttocks will not yield a visible result. The other thing your provider didn't tell you is that you are actually a great candidate for liposuction and fat transfer to your buttocks, a procedure that is reasonably priced compared to the amount of money you'll need to inject your butt with a substance that will be gone in a year or two.

There are many potential reasons why you didn't see a tremendous improvement. But, one of the main reasons is that you simply may need more. We do a mix of different fillers which has given a better result for us than sculptra alone.
