Good morning, i gmhv superficial scars from acne and some hyperpigmentation due to old pimples( acne has been taken care off). I also have fine lines around my eyes and mouth. Would like to know if a chemical peel or microneedling would help this. Female- age27

 Photographic evaluation is incomplete without personal examination to give a most appropriate answer
 There are different types of peels used by dermatologists such as mild peel for example glycolic acid peel and stronger peels such as retinol peel whose usage depends on the type of pigmentation you have. However, from the photos, it seems that glycolic peel would be one of the best choices to help with your superficial pigmentation. We will start with a lesser concentration of 20 to 25% and then scale up according to how it suits your skin. We also have other technologies such as derma roller, laser technology, etc. If you need to proceed with chemical peels then normally a person needs 4 to 5 sessions at an interval of 15 days between 2 individual sessions.
