I'm African-American (brown/dark skinned) and I have really bad marks and blemishes from old mosquito bites from the Carribean. I'm so self-conscious, I can't wear shorts or skirts! Which chemical peel would help me? Please help!
I got pixel resurfacing on my legs to remove some scarring and hyperpigmentation. Insteading of fading all the areas that were touched by the laser, my legs came severely darker and blotchy in colour. My legs felt like they were burning for 5 weeks after the treatment. Im current using vit c in the day and cystaemine nightly but dont see much fading. Would chemical peels help or is this permanent discolouration?
I'd like something to use on my legs, neck and upper chest and some professional insight and recommendations on the different types of body peels there are and good products/brands to use (I'm considering a peel pad but want to know what my others options are to first ).My legs are very dull and dry and and my knees are very rough. My neck and chest feels very rough and I get neck acne a lot lately. Besides peels what other spa-med spa-at home products/ treatments are there?
I have alot of dark spots on my legs (strawberry legs). I hate them and want them to lighten up or disappear. My legs are very light so they show. It makes me really insecure to wear shorts or dresses. I wanted to know what can I do to get rid of them or lighten them significantly. Can I get a chemical peel on my legs? Please help
I was born in Jamaica and I have very sensitive skin. When I lived in Jamaica I got bitten quite often by mosquitos and the mosquito bite area would turn dark and now I have dark spots all over my legs from it. I've had these spots for as long as I can remember. I hate them, because of this predicament, I don't like wearing dresses or anything that would show off my leg. Should I get a chemical peel along with laser. Or are there any creams that could help??
I am 21 years old and had eczema when I was younger (2-15) which left a very uneven skin tone on my legs. I have used creams such as hydrocortisone to even the skin tone but this was not effective in the slightest. After reading about chemical peels and how they have positively affected many others with such hyperpigmentation, I believe that it may resolve the problems I have with uneven skin tone. However, I do not know which peel I should consider, let alone use. Thank you!!!
I am a 59 year old female, very fair skin so I do not go out into the sun. I do not have any sun damage at all. I lost an extra 10 pounds a couple of years ago, not trying to but did and all of a sudden my skin is crepey on my arms and the fronts of my upper legs. Im looking for a non-surgical way to resolve this issue. Id like a strong skin peel.
Im embarrassed to show my legs. Being fair skinned, 70, its bad. Every dermatological treatment has left more hyperpigmentation, not to mention chicken skin from shaving. No self tanner will help; makes it all look worse. Any purism or treatment available?
