Question

After finishing all of my trays I was given my retainer and told I only had to wear it at night, slowly this front tooth starting going back to its original position and I gave up on wearing the retainer at night. Now I'm regretful. Should I try forcing my retainer? Over night or 24hrs/day ?

I would try wearing the retainer 24 hours a day.  If that doesn't work, return to your orthodontist and ask what they would suggest.  Also, I advise my patients to wear their retainers 24 hours a day after they have completed their Invisalign treatment.  The teeth are prone to moving back to their previous positions if you don't wear your retainers.  Only after the first year of retainer wear do I recommend night time wear only.

If the retainer will still fit you should wear it 24 hours a
day until the tooth aligns again and then consider going back to at night wear.
If you just stop wearing the retainer all together there is a good chance it
might get worse.

Try to wear your last Invislaign tray or if you don't have that your retainer as much as possible and you will likely see the improvement in the position of that tooth.  It will likely not go back to being perfect but it will likely improve.

Based on your picture, I doubt that your retainers would fit. If there are, than yes, wearing them 24 hours a days for the next three months will improve the alignment.
