I chipped my front left tooth when I was younger and had a fill in that covered almost half of my tooth. The fill in shape was much more rounder than my natural right front tooth. I went in to get a temporary crown on my left front tooth. The temporary he made is the EXACT SAME ROUND SHAPE. I HATE IT. I wasn’t asked what shape I wanted it. What should I do? My permanent crown has not been placed on yet.. can I have it sent back to the lab and have adjustments made?

Hello and thank you for your question. In general, I prefer to align teeth first, and then place restorative veneers to provide a great smile. Please consider an in-person consultation with an experienced and legit dentist. Your smile is nothing to play around with. All the best to you!
If the aesthetic appearance bothers you, then you must discuss your concerns with your dentist. The later you bring up the concern, the less likely you’ll receive a resolution. A cosmetic oriented ceramist can replicate enamel like crown. Stay away from PFM crowns in the smile zone.
