Neck soreness after Botox for migraine. Other than ice, is it OK to use heat?

had my first botox treatment for migraines 4 days ago and feeling headache free for 2 days now but have neck and shoulder soreness it think from the injections. Other than ice is it ok to use heat? Tried ibuprophen and the pain meds the day after but dont think they really help just waiting it out. Looking online for neck exercises to do maybe?? Hoping the soreness goes away soon!

Thank you for your question.Botox will help with the trigger points for migraines.The oral medications may have other benefits for you as a preventative means - to prevent onset of migraines.

Botox is known to relieve the specific nerves in the muscle groups it's injected into. So getting Botox injections for migraines is unlikely to affect wrinkles or change your face's appearance. You can receive both products as long as the total amount does not exceed 400 Units
