I had a silicone chin implant 20 years ago, no problems, but are there any concerns I should have?

Silicone implants will exist in the body unchanged for a lifetime. If the area around the implant looks good, is stable and you're experiencing no pain or other problems there is an old saying that applies: If it ain't broke don't fix it.

 Hi, I have performed many chin implant surgeries using silastic implants for over 30 years.  The implants will last a lifetime without dissolving or eroding so if you do not see or feel any major changes in your chin, there's no cause for concern.   Hope this helps.
