Doxycycline before and after microneedling?

Can someone please tell me how far in advance of a microneedling treatment oral doxycycline should be discontinued? When can doxyclycline be resumed following microneedling so as to not have a negative impact on the effectiveness of microneedling? Thank you!

Doxycycline should't have any negative effects on your microneedling results - it can be taken while pursuing microneedling treatment. Moreover, please consult with the rendering physician prior to treatment if you are concerned. Best, Dr. Emer.

Doxycycline should not negatively impact your microneedling results. If you are having the microneedling for acne scars and take the doxycycline for acne, then it may help you from breaking out after the treatment. That being said, this is a conversation you should have with your physician prior to the microneedling treatment.
