Does your butt shape change after bbl? (photo)

Question

I mean... does it get rounder? I had a nice round butt right after I am at Day 17 and it looks flat. I have not sat on it... I sleep on a cot with a hole where the butt hangs (not sure that gravity is helping here) anyway just want to know if I'm gonna have a round butt or not.

Hi and thanks for the question and photos. Yes your butt does continue to get rounder as time passes after BBL. When the fat is first placed in the buttocks the skin has to stretch to get bigger and rounder. Before it is fully stretched it is usually flatter and sits higher than it will after the healing proces is complete. You should see a significant improvement ~12 weeks after surgery. Too early to judge on the final result. You are still at the healing stage. The area in your lower back will be still bruised and swollen and this will take 8-12 weeks to settle. Wear your garment and keep your follow up with your surgeon.You have to give your body at least 12 weeks to start seeing results and final results can take 3-6 months depending the way your body heals

Thank you for your question and photographs.You are still early in your recovery, generally most of the swelling will start to resolve by 6-8 weeks and you should start to see your final results by then. During the recovery period leading up to that your buttocks will continue to change slightly as the swelling resolves but by 8 weeks you should be able to get an idea of what your final outcome will look like and by 6 months you should be completely healed.
