Is Recovery Home necessary?

I have patients who fly from all over the world to have surgery with me.  I usually have one of my nurses take care of them at a hotel if they are alone.  I would ask your plastic surgeon.  I would search for the surgeon who you feel is most likely to give you
the best results. Look at reviews and before and after pictures on that

Great question! I usually recommend my patients to stay at one of our recovery suites following surgery, but some patients prefer to go home. We also provide care with a registered nurse at your home if needed.

Great question.   Whether you need to stay overnight at a hospital vs recovery center vs going home depends entirely on the length of proposed surgery and whether it's being combined with other procedures such as tummy tuck.   Please discuss all details with your board certified plastic surgeon and follow his/her recommendation.  Best of luck. 

This is a question best asked of the plastic surgeon that you choose to perform the procedure.  I send my BBL patients to a recovery center because there are nurses who are experienced with the specific after care of BBL patients.  They are experienced in the post operative course.  I would not be comfortable with what you propose unless your nurse works at a plastic surgery recovery center often.  Hope this helps and best wishes.
