Is staying in a Recovery Home necessary after getting a brazilian butt lift? I'm wondering if I can just stay at a hotel and have my personal nurse take care of me.

I have patients who fly from all over the world to have surgery with me.  I usually have one of my nurses take care of them at a hotel if they are alone.  I would ask your plastic surgeon.  I would search for the surgeon who you feel is most likely to give you
the best results. Look at reviews and before and after pictures on that

Great question! I usually recommend my patients to stay at one of our recovery suites following surgery, but some patients prefer to go home. We also provide care with a registered nurse at your home if needed.

Great question.   Whether you need to stay overnight at a hospital vs recovery center vs going home depends entirely on the length of proposed surgery and whether it's being combined with other procedures such as tummy tuck. This is a question best asked of the plastic surgeon that you choose to perform the procedure.  I send my BBL patients to a recovery center because there are nurses who are experienced with the specific after care of BBL patients.  They are experienced in the post operative course.  I would not be comfortable with what you propose unless your nurse works at a plastic surgery recovery center often.  Hope this helps and best wishes.
