Did I jeopardize my Vbeam results by getting hot and sweating the day after?

Question

Got my face and chest area treated and the next day 24 hrs plus after procedure, was sweating because of dancing which made me sweat. Did I jeapordize my results?

This will not affect your results. Strictly avoid sun exposure for at least a month after treatment to minimize the risk of dark discoloration in the treated skin. Use sunscreen of spf 30 or higher,. I recommend getting a formal evaluation with a cosmetic dermatologist. For rosacea, I like a combination approach, using lasers (ProYellow, Pulsed Dye/Vbeam, Excel V), peels and botox . This makes dramatic changes in color and symptoms. See an expert. Best, Dr. Emer

I appreciate your concern, but sweating alone will not compromise the results of your Vbeam treatment. I would be more concerned about direct sun exposure, which can cause damage to the skin when it is in a vulnerable state during the healing process.
