I had Dysport done June 23/2017 with 6 units on each side of the eye for small crows feet that were starting to appear & 20 units between the eyes. I am 40 years old & I did not get a scary looking eyebrow arch last Oct just doing the angry 11's. Is it because I did the crow's feet that it pulled back my eye & will this go away in time? If I want to treat the crows feet in the future, how can I stop the scary eye brow arches? I feel like I've aged myself. Thank you in advance!
Answer: "Angry" look after Dysport Thank you for the question and pictures. This is easily correctable with a couple of units of neurotoxin above the arch of your eyebrow to let it down. The eye brow is in a state of tug-of-war between your frontalis muscle, which holds it up, and your orbicularis oculi muscle around your eye, which pulls it down (try squinting really hard and you'll see your brow drop). When you had your crow's feet treated (which are also caused by the orbicularis oculi), the forehead started "winning". I think it's time to show that forehead who's boss (the Dysport). Good luck!

Answer: Scary Eyebrow Arch After Dysport Thank you for your question. With Botox or Dysport, there is always a risk of over-arching of the eyebrows, unfortunately. Luckily, for you, it is an easy fix. I would recommend going back to your practitioner for a touch up of a small amount of Dysport placed just above the peak of your brow. This should help with the “scary arch”. As always, consult with your practitioner for further aesthetic questions and goals.
