What is the best laser to remove red ink tattoo and how many sessions should I expect? (photo)

I have two tattoos I want to get rid of, but the red lips on my butt are more of a priority right now. I have read so many different things on line about the different lasers to use and wanted to get a more reputable answer. I got my matching tattoo with my best friend 5 years ago and have wanted it gone for 4. The one on my back has been there a little longer than the butt and it was done terribly and has faded a lot.

The PicoWay laser can be used to remove both of your tattoos. Black ink is the easiest to remove, but it works very well on red ink as well as other colors. It will take several treatments – at least five or six, possibly up to eight – to remove either tattoo. Please be sure to use a board-certified dermatologist who is an expert in tattoo removal.

Pico lasers are the most advanced technology. I utilize the PiQo4 laser which has 4 Pico wavelengths including the 532 wavelength ideal for red ink. With this advanced technology the average number of treatments is 4-6. However the number of treatments can vary based on several factors such as the location of your tattoo, your skin tone, how sharp the ink is, and how quickly your body eliminates the ink. Even with advanced lasers and multiple wavelengths complete removal is not always possible. I believe that tattoos are removed faster and safer with Pico lasers and there is less risk of scarring. I think it is important not only to seek the best technology but an experienced laser tattoo removal provider.

The wavelength needed is 532nm. With darker skin types, the laser can't be too aggressive. I like the Piqo4 laser because it has this wavelength and 3 others and both high power nano and picosecond capabilities.
