I was speaking to a professional about help for my indented acne scars and broken capillaries. She suggested IPL. Several years ago (2008?) I had one treatment of laser (I don't remember which kind of laser) at a different place, and I ended up with cold sores all over my face. I am also now taking Symbicort, a steroidal inhaler. Would it be safe for me to get a laser treatment done? I would be taking an antiviral before and after, but I want a second opinion on safety. Thanks.
